Manage and administer
As well as a rich feature set of user management functions, TWiST WEBLiNK allows browser access of the PPD information of the Workflow concerned. If granted permissions, a client could upload a file and ‘preconfigure’ workflow permutations (the Basic Tool options, etc.) based
upon the Printer Description File that DALiM TWiST generates when the Workflow is first created. Furthermore, the presentation of job logs has been optimised for fast and easy understanding by categorising DALiM TWIST’s messages under self-explanatory sub-headings. Since the system does not rely upon a "Hot Folder" analogy, rather addresses the file upon submission, the result is a considerably faster point-to-point production.

Technologies and standards
As with TWiST DiALOGUE, TWiST WEBLiNK communicates between the web server and the production workflow server (DALiM TWiSTor DALiM SWiNG) via XML. However, all information displayed in TWiST WEBLiNK is HTML, enabling compatibility with all current web browsers on most current operating systems, all without the requirement of any web browser plug-in.
The TWiST WEBLiNK interface has also been designed to
accommodate a custom GIF/JPEG logo if required.
